Dear Healthcare Partners,
I wanted to make sure we let you all know where we stand in the ever-changing landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are working with local and national health officials, along with our laboratory partners to monitor the situation and mitigate the risk to our patients and employees. The health of our patients and employees is our top priority. We know, even now, patients need to continue to receive the proper care.
We continue to see patients for home specimen collections in MD, DE, PA, NJ, and NY. In fact, we have seen the number of orders we are receiving increase as medical providers determine that a home visit is indicated for their at-risk patients who did not previously receive home service.
We are very proud of our on-time service delivery rate. However, since we will never send a sick employee to a patient’s home, it may become necessary to reschedule patients if a phlebotomist becomes sick. We have procedures in place to communicate any changes to the schedule to your office and to the patient.
